Piano Sonata No. 1 in F Minor

Here is my first-ever piano sonata. I decided to begin some revisions and ended up polishing the piece in 2020. I originally wrote the first and third movement when I was 17 and the second as a nocturne. Upon doing my revisions and editing I decided to use the nocturne as the second movement and publish the work.

The first movement has some great moments, and the third movement is a rondo ending in a contrapuntal section with each voice using a rondo theme. The end of the third movement was particularly complimented by composer Steven Sacco, whom I met during a performance festival.

Overall the piece is more of a stepping stone than a representation of my utmost musical achievement, though I hope it is enjoyable to listen to nonetheless.
