Concertino

for Piano and Orchestra

$40.00

Concertino is a showpiece for piano and orchestra originally intended to be a multimovement piano concerto. I composed the work in 2020 at age eighteen and it has been a long standing favorite of my peers and colleagues. To date, this is one of my most personally beloved original compositions because of its significance to my life as a young musician. The work features youthful confidence, memorable melodies, Beethovenian drama, and captivating dialogues between the orchestra and soloist. It is a stylistically conservative piece written in traditional sonata form, however, Concertino is of course a student work. It was completed before I entered university, and was written solely through passion and self-study.
