L. Michael Green
Michael Green is a pianist and composer currently completing his senior year in Piano Performance at the University of Central Florida (UCF). Beginning his musical journey at 15, he quickly gained recognition for his talent, participating in various music festivals nationally and abroad. After earning two associate's degrees, Michael transferred to UCF in 2022 to dedicate himself to music.
Since joining UCF, Michael has appeared in notable performances including playing with the UCFSO at Steinmetz Hall and the UCF Percussion Ensemble at PASIC in Indianapolis. He has also performed chamber music as a fellow at the Lake George Festival in New York. Michael's achievements at UCF include receiving the Jose and Mimi Fernandez Scholarship for his academic and musical excellence and securing second prize in the 2024 UCF Performance Excellence Competition.
About Me
I offer private music lessons and have taught students of all ages for over 4 years. I teach in-home lessons in the south Orlando area, lessons on campus for UCF students, and virtual lessons for long-distance students. I am also a professional accompanist and have played for student recitals, MPA events, choirs, large and small ensembles, and symphonic orchestras.
